Newport Landing Sportfishing is great for both beginners and experienced fisherman, with day fishing trips offered in the morning, afternoon, and evening daily. Catch over two dozen different species of fish including giant yellowtail up to 40 pounds, halibut, kelp bass, barracuda, red snapper, and many more. Hundreds of fish per each trip is common. Catalina Island day trips are offered daily and they catch giant yellowtail to 50 pounds, white sea bass to 60 pounds, yellowfin tuna (summer months) and dozens more. Overnight and longer trips are also available. Check our website for availability and schedule. Each ship has a full-service kitchen onboard and fish cleaning. Rental gear and everything you would need for your trip is also available.
