Professional Sports Teams
Besides being a great tourist destination, Anaheim is also a hit as a major sporting destination. In the summer, Angel Stadium of Anaheim becomes home to exciting Major League Baseball. The Angels are consistent contenders for the American League West title and feature some of the game’s brightest stars. New to Anaheim in November of 2011 is the return of indoor soccer in the form of the Anaheim Bolts. Also in the winter, live sporting switches to the Anaheim Ducks, who play at the Honda Center through spring.

- Anaheim is also the training home to the U.S. Men's and Women's National Volleyball Teams. The women won the silver medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, while the men took home the gold, a feat they’ll try to match in the 2012 Games in London.
